north orange county/la county big beer bottles

    I am going to be down in the LA friday evening and saturday morning and I'd like to pick up some bottles of some bigger beers (stouts, strongs, barley wines, etc.) Not really familiar at all with the scene down there so I'd love suggestions of breweries to check out, especially ones that have a strong showing in the darker stronger realms. I wont be much further south than the la/orange line and I think I am staying roughly near dogers stadium and lax. thanks for the tips.

    dodgers stadium and lax are on opposite ends of la. if you're near dodgers stadium go to Sunset Beer Co. great selection of local beers

    Highland Park is releasing an imperial stout this weekend. should check them out anyway, best brewery on the East Side

    agree on the bruery. I would go to the terreux location as it's much less crowded and can sit outside

    It's no longer of daught, but Beachwood still has a few bottles of Sadie in the fridge. One of my favorites with at least 6 months cellared on it.
