I ordered two 4-packs of party cup yesterday and had it delivered to me at work same day because of this thread. It's definitely a good beer.

 

Hopefully there's a new WC IPA release soon because my Hop-Fu is running low.

 

That one was a collab with Original 40 Brewing. We do have a couple of bourbon barrels filled that batch and plan to release bottles in the future. Not sure we'll make that exact beer again, but we will definitely be brewing more decadent Imperial Stouts and Porters. We have a couple of Bourbon Barrel Aged Maple Syrup Barrels (rye and bourbon) with stouts in them that will be ready to package pretty soonish.

 

Fresh batch of Hop-Fu! cans coming this week. We've also got some new and recurring WCIPA favorites on the schedule.

Indeed. Hop-Fu is my all day, everyday drinker. Maybe not ALL day... but close.

 

So took that case to a small family gathering on saturday...yeah...it was all drank through. Seems everyone really enjoyed it. Managed to get 6 4pks of different beers. Good times.

BLACK IS BEAUTIFUL, Imperial Stout, 10% ABV.
We were encouraged to be creative with the recipe and we ended up with an adjunct-free intensely roast forward old school Imperial Stout. Bold flavors of bittersweet chocolate, bakers cocoa, dark roast espresso, slightly burnt toast, black licorice, and dark dried fruit. Medium-full bodied with a long lasting, dry, and roasted finish.

This amazing brewery collaboration is a united effort to bring awareness to the injustices that people of color face daily and 100% of proceeds will be donated. We have chosen to work with two local organizations, Detour Empowers & Blue Heart Foundation. These entities were selected based upon the strength of their focus on building paths to inclusion for black young people in the San Diego area through opening doors that wouldn't otherwise be open to them.

PEACH WHIP, Peach Milkshake IPA, 7.5% ABV.

I really want to try Peach Whip... but I really don't like milkshake IPAs. May as well grab a 4pk, for science.

 

Working on a pack of Hop-Fu right now.

Glad they went adjunct free for BIB. The ABV is higher than what I ended up brewing but I might have to grab a pack for comparisons.

 

I'm trying to get at least 1 can from various breweries around SD -> LA so I can compare. Should be a fun experiment.

 

Had the kiwi wcipa which was the best wcipa I’ve had in a while. Also just drank the Covington Pilsner which was also very good. Hoping to try that party... (drank or cup?) hoppy (mosaic?) pils when I can find it next.

 

Party Cup is practically their best beer. Infinitely refreshing.

 

The problem is that it doesn't come in a 12-pack.

 

Welp that sale was a shit show (no surprise). Eventbrite crashed on me as soon as 10am hit. Wheel of death.
