Apologies for carrying on my minor rant here. Going through the photos in Untappd there’s others who’s photos looks like the same issue. I think I’ll stick to Hop Fu. Clear beer.

We’ve had some random issues with that canning run of Art is Hard. The entire batch did not get compromised, but we’ve seen some bad cans like your image shows. Shoot an email to [email protected] and I’ll make sure we send you out some freshies as soon as the next batch is ready. Sorry for the inconvenience!

    Hi Kelsey,

I wanted to inquire upon the safety protocols taking place for the big shindig in the upcoming weeks (2). In regards to the new variant which I have no doubt you have taken into consideration, will it be a limited event, similar to how wakefest held their event earlier this year? Additionally, will it be capped to the amount of people indoors (perhaps at 50% capacity like 25 downstairs and the other half upstairs) whereas the remainder would be outside?

I have no doubts the planning was done successfully but for those that remain hesitant and want piece of mind, sure they can opt out or perhaps would like more information on this matter. I know abnormal was trying to do something similar however, someone had inquired on their safety measures and they later flipped the switch for the better rather than sticking to their original objective. Thank you.

We made 150 VIP tickets available and at this time 50 GA. Our total inside capacity (per fire code) is >220. All of our patio and parklet areas will be available to use during both VIP & GA sessions. The outdoor tables are a mix of 4 and 6 tops and offer a total of about 100 seats. To avoid long queues to inside bathrooms, we are renting 2 portable bathrooms with handwash sinks. We're most definitely not trying to overcrowd the event, but we do anticipate that it will be a good turnout. Anyone who wishes to keep a mask on inside and enjoy their pours outside is certainly welcome to do so. Our hope is that everyone has a great time, feels safe, and that we're setting strong precedent for our future events.

Got another delivery mix case. Infernal Combustion and Sorta Mostly Dead are both killer WCIPA. Added HopFu and a BirdPark to that tasty mix. Sorta Mostly Dead may be my favorite clear ipa of the year (so far).

I think Sorta Mostly Dead was my favorite beer of 2020.

PSA for those that purchased tickets to the North Park Anniversary Party - looks like some of the staff tested positive for COVID which will likely impact the event. Text below from the IG post:

"Hey Friends and Neighbors. We’ve unfortunately had a few positive breakthrough Covid tests (amongst our vaccinated staff) so we are going to close down today to allow the rest of our staff to get tested and have everything sanitized. This obviously has affected our plans for the NPBC5 Anniversary Party this Saturday. We will have details about that very soon as there are lots of moving parts to sort out but we promise to update you as soon as we can. Stay safe and as always, we appreciate your patience & continued support."

NPBC5 TDH West Coast DIPA is amazing; unbelievably smooth, dry, and crushable.

Yet to try the Hazy Triple but I’m looking forward to it.

I agree on the West Coast! It is very good!

The hazy triple is even better in IMO! Outstanding!

This is not as good as the triple, but is still really good! Great hop profile...Nelson/Strata/Nectaron.

I don’t seek out high-ABV IPAs these days but damn, I agree, the hazy TIPA is indeed outstanding; a medley of mango, melon, grapefruit, soft, and highly quaffable for the style.

It [Axes of Fu] was excellent. NPBC is the rare brewery that makes best in class NEIPA and WCIPA.

Huge NPBC fan here from Illinois. I'm looking to get a 4-pack of citra collider and 4-pack of Bine sweeper if anyone can mule and ship. Or we can trade! I have access to all Chicago breweries.
