Northern Wisconsin beer stores

    can anyone recommend a good beer store in Appleton or off of Highways10 or 29 in Wisconsin? I'm driving through Stevens Point, Wausau, Abbotsford, and Chippewa Falls. Thanks!

    The Bottle Stop in Stevens Point is great.

    I second the bottle shop, it has a pretty good selection and the guy who runs it is very knowledge and friendly. I would recommend checking out the Trigs in Wausau right off 51. In Appleton, the Woodman's has a decent selection.

    If you are going through Chippewa Falls a side trip to The Coffee Grounds in Eau Claire is totally worth it. Great Selection, decent prices, and Toppling Goliath growler fills (Usually).

    Check out JR Liquor in Stevens Point next time you're going through the area, they also have a really solid craft lineup.
