Couple other notes, Cnut brewed a Dopplebock last week, it should be available early in the new year. Apparently Subdued couldn't reach an agreement with the landlord of their chosen spot, and are back at square one. Illuminati Brewing is hoping to be brewing sometime early '17. Those last couple nuggets come from the Hairball: http://www.bellinghamherald.com/news/business/article112571367.html

First Structures can release is December 3rd. I really hope they just make the damn beer and put it out for sale instead of a constant barrage of lined hype events.

They told me they would make X amount, and if they didn't sell it all the first weekend or so, the rest would go to Chucks (this applies obviously to the sale of canned IPA's that they hope to sell as fresh as possible).

That's cool. They don't need to send it down to us, I just hope they're not aiming for the Treehouse release model.

Well they only plan on selling anything that doesn't move within a few days to Chuck's, and the reason is purely a freshness one. They want those IPA's consumed as fresh as possible.

As for the other packaged stuff, IIRC, there will be releases for those, but it sounded as if they planned to have more than enough for anyone in line, with the intention of having the remaining bottles available for onsite only consumption.

I gotta say I am excited about Chuckanut's dopplebock.

Atwood bottles made its way down to Seattle. Nice price point on 750ml bottle conditioned beer ($12).

There's no solid date yet, and things are still fluid, but there is a strong likelihood of Boundary Bay's Cedar Dust IPA being available in cans not too far away.

I'll be rolling through on December 17th on my way to Vancouver. Bet they'll be long gone by then...

Just read the November update from Kulshan and they've recently received a new 90bbl fermenter and a 120bbl brite tank, bringing their total capacity up to 12,000bbl a year. Congrats guys! They're also releasing the latest in their Brewers Select series beers; #19 High Pressure Lager clocks in at 4.5% abv and 12 IBUs.

Greenes Corner expects to be open in their new location, near Kulshan, the first week of December. That'll be nice, having more pizza and another bottle shop nearer to downtown.

Looks like Structures is holding off on releasing Focus and delaying cans of Fuzz until mid-December:

Still looking forward to heading up.

Nice, now hopefully they'll manage their aged product issue or sell through it faster!

It's not 100% official yet, but, look for the release of Boundary Bay's Bootlegger series bottles on December 21. Brewery only. Last year the majority of bottles sold out at the release party, but some were available for a couple weeks after. There's a couple twists this year, but, there will be Oatmeal Stout and Cabin Fever, plus a couple other surprises, aged in various barrels, and with some different treatments. More details when the official announcement is pending.

Their pizza is really tasty, always managed to grab a slice while bottle shopping.
