I recently took the dive into owning a kegorator. I pick this unit up unused on Craigslist for next to nothing. I'm actually having a lot of success with it. Getting great pours with minor tweaks.

My question is will this hold 2 1/6 kegs? I can't find any information online some say yes some say no. I would like to know if anyone has ever done this? And if so any modifications that had to be made

    Thanks,
    Wick

The next time you buy a keg, don't return your empty one and then you can test for yourself if it will fit.

Many people will cut out a round piece of cardboard in the same size as the keg footprint. Use a compass and scissors.
Note that a slim quarter is quite a bit wider than a sixtel. Get to know how to tell them apart visually.

You'll need 18 1/2" minimum of floor space. Really this will be closer to 20".
    Cheers.

Yea I was looking to find out sooner. I find some info that says yes and some that says no.

Yea I'd be trying to fit 2 sixtels. The paper idea is good but it won't work for this unit. The door it's self has extra space for the keg to stick out. Ive cut a piece of cardboard but can not tell if it hits the door when I close it. The kegs would have to be diagonally paced in the unit they would fit directly side by side

Based on their documentation, I'd say no. Every place Nostalgia talks about the specifics of their units, if it can hold 2 sixths, they mention it as a feature (as they should). The manufacturer doesn't make that claim, although one seller on ebay does. Always a little dicey to take a third party's word for something. You could also borrow an empty keg(s) from your store for a few minutes if you are on good terms with them.

    For the 2100 from Nostalgia:
    HOLDS THE FOLLOWING SIZE KEGS
    • 1/6 Barrel (5.23 Gallons) | Fits 1
    • 1/4 Barrel Short (7.75 Gallons) | Fits 1
    • 1/4 Barrel Slim (7.75 Gallons) | Fits 1
    • 1/2 Barrel (15.5 Gallons) | Fits 1
    For the 6100:
    HOLDS THE FOLLOWING SIZE KEGS
    • 1/6 Barrel (5.23 Gallons) | Fits 2
    • 1/4 Barrel Short (7.75 Gallons) | Fits 1
    • 1/4 Barrel Slim (7.75 Gallons) | Fits 1
    • 1/2 Barrel (15.5 Gallons) | Fits 1

    1. Run down to a local place that sells kegs
    2. Ask to borrow an empty keg for one hour (explain why)
    3. Leave deposit
    4. Use empty keg to determine answer
    5. Return keg
    6. Report back on this thread

    Go!!!

Ok. So I don't now how people have got 2 sixtels into this thing. Not an option for my unit. It needs about another 2 inches.
