I was once at a place and found FW Anniversary beers priced at $12 each, rather than the $20-ish. My friend and I each grabbed 3, brought them to the counter, we did mention that it's a way lower price than normal, but the cashier said that is how it was in the system after scanning them in.

A few years back, my wife was buying my Christmas presents at a liquor store. One of the bottles was a 750ml Scaldis Noel, which are not cheap. It rang up at what must have been the price for the 33cl/330ml bottles. My wife pointed out the low price, saying it must be wrong. The clerk insisted it was the right price. So my wife grabbed 2 more 750ml bottles and added them to the order.

If you point out a mistake and the manager or clerk insists that there's no mistake, it's all fair game after that.

I HATE that. You're trying to do the right thing and you're treated like you just grew a third head. If it were me, I wouldn't feel guilty about any future undercharges from that store.

I once found a brand-new Kuhn-Rikon can opener at Goodwill. They couldn't find a price on it, so they charged me a dollar. When I got home, I found the price written on the inside of the handle. It was $2.00. The next time I went to that store, I gave them an extra dollar and told them what happened. They were surprised, but at least they thanked me. I'll just keep on doing the right thing in any case.
