The hype behind NYFRB is not coming from fellow BA's it is coming from regular folks. My local Binny's got about 20 cases and people were FREAKING OUT. It was older ladies who were driving the hype. I saw a woman throw a fit when they told her she could only have a six pack rather than a case.

    Isn't it always, though?

    Think about it.

It is really great tasting root beer. Glad I got some. But too sweet to drink very often.

I'd try it but probably won't enjoy more than one.

It's all a matter of taste I guess. I got a six-pack at my local grocery store to see what the hype was about. I should have known better, as I'm no fan of root beer (I never had it as a kid and when I first had one as a teen, it tasted like medicinal syrup to me). I had half a bottle of it, to me tasted just like root beer with alcohol in it. Poured the other half down the drain and gave the rest of the bottles away. Everybody else I talk to seems to love it though.

I tried it once. Was impressed at how closely it tasted like Root Beer. The sugar/sweetness destroyed my pallet. Glad to say I tried it once, not likely to be a second time however.
