    Hey gang,

I was wondering if you could give me the scoop on "Not your father's root beer". My little sister lives in Naperville. She has been telling me about this stuff for several years. Apparently it was only available on tap, But they recently started putting it in bombers. She raves about it, and the reviews look really good. So is it readily available? Like, if I wanted to try and trade for some, is it available on shelves in the right parts of the Chicago area? Or Is this some sort of smallbatch release situation?
    Thanks for your help.

    Ryan

small batch releases, the next release per small town brewery twitter feed is march 10, but it wont sit on the shelves. It will be gone the same day. And it is some tasty stuff.

I think its awesome, but have only had it on tap. I have never seen it bottled

Bombers were released once earlier this year, snapped up quick.

    +1 on delish.

It's on the shelves in Columbus as we speak - I know of two stores at least that have displays full of bombers.

They brew 2 versions of this. One of them is around 10% and the other is around 20%. The 10% was the one bottled. I've only ever had the 20% and it is dangerously delicious.

If a person is in Chicago, it really isn't hard to find it on draft if you really want some. Consult beermenus when/if you are ever in town.
