Anyone seen the Hardywood Bourbon Barrel Raspberry Stout Vanilla?

The vanilla was brewery only I think. I still haven't seen the regular Bourbon Raspberry, I was expecting it to be everywhere like their other bourbon barrel beers.

I saw Hardywood Bourbon Raspberry at Trader Joe's in Alexandria last weekend.

Seems a little late for a pumpkin beer, right?

My friend picked me up a Raspberry Vanilla when he was at the brewery on Friday. They may still have some if you can make it down there.

Appreciate the heads up, will try the TJ in Alexandria and see if I can make it to the brewpub this weekend.

I finally found the Hardywood Bourbon Raspberry Stout today at TW Chantilly. They also had about 2 cases of each of the 3 Avery sours, 1 each at $15 for two of them and $18 for the other. I think they are going to have them for a while, I don't see why places put limits on these super expensive Avery releases.

Not Your Father's Root Beer (5.9%) showed up in NoVA today. Twenty cases at TW Springfield, and probably available elsewhere as well.

5 cases went pretty quickly at Arrowine in Arlington...

Does Bluejacket still see bottles to go? And if so, where do you find a list of what they have?

Yes, and their website has a list. I think I'm gonna go by there today, I'll let you know if the website is not accurate.

NYFRB is free falling down the beer ratings as it expands into new markets.

I fucked up, I didn't think there was a game today but there is, the place was packed. I didn't stay long but the dry hopped blonde sour they have is good. It definitely more tart than full on sour, but its a tasty beer.

Whatever happened to Alpine launching in DC? There was that one week where they were around on tap, but then nothing.

August, that was just a pre launch but heard they are ramping up productionat the Green Flash facility and starting August full distribution.

On a similar note to the Alpine question, whatever happened to Cigar City in the DC area? For a little while, Jai Alai, Florida Cracker, and maybe Helles Lager were freely available and now, nothing. Any plans for them to distribute up here again? On a related note, I was in Lancaster PA about a week ago and they had Cigar City beers available, most of them canned in March but they were on the shelves.

Traded emails with the VP of sales at Brown last fall, his response was that CCB is having trouble keeping up with the demand in FL...I know my friends in NJ that work in NYC have gotten Jai Alai earlier this year, relatively fresh...I prefer Invasion IPA to Jai Alai...haven't seen it since the end of last summer or early fall in VA...

Re: CCB -- We also got 2 variations of Hopped on the High Seas before it all disappeared. Then I saw a bunch of them on the shelves at a bottle shop in Philly last month....Guess they halted distribution here and started there??

Not much coming from alpine until the soVA green flash facility is up. So not anytime soon. NYFRB landed at k-1 today.
