Grabbed a growler for the weekend, tasted pretty damn good in the sample glass. Wouldn't be shocked if it appears on WBAYDN later .

 

Anyone else laugh when they see people stocking up on beer ahead of storms? I would have to be snowed in for about 6 months before I ran out of beer, maybe longer. Then I could just brew some more. Would definitely starve before the house went dry.

 

Westover had some yesterday, and they plan to be open all weekend.

 

Grabbed some at Planet Wine in Del Ray, Alexandria. $3.50 per can, they had at least a case at 1pm before the snow hit.

I saw a couple of the regular W&B 4 packs at TW in Springfield. Cinnamon Roll'd hit last weekend, and is pretty much gone from my understanding.

 

No, not everyone hoards/cellars beer or brews their own, in other words, not everyone is as cool as you.

 

Wow, a little bit angsty up in here. Just thought it was a funny observation of which many people in this thread might relate.

I guess I'll go brew some bad ass beer and inventory all my hoarded bottles.

 

When plenty of dark beers have specific instructions such as, "buy a case and drink 1 every few months" I think you are doing a fine job!! Ignore the shade that gets thrown around in here.

On a different note, Adriot Theory is a fun outside of the box brewery, some beers come out horrible, some come out awesome and some come out in the middle. Don't buy at the stores ( too pricey) but its definitely a fun nano brewery to visit.

 

I liked this beer a lot. But be warned, it's boozy. Also got a growler of it from Dominion.

 

I'm a big fan of ATBC. I agree with you that some of their stuff are "misses", but what brewery can we NOT say that about. I wasn't aware of the illness story relayed above, so I won't speak to it. What I will say is that some of their beers have been, for me (a stout fan), easily world class. Imagination Atrophy, Godjira, and any of the BAYS variants are awesome imo.

Plus, I love the fact that no matter when I go, they will always have at least half a dozen beers I've never tried before.
