So I just got back from that Grimm event and Aslin with some cool people. Imagine going from Lambo Door by Grimm to Aslin Brewing. Aslin held up, and kept beating through. I love Grimm, always will.

Finally, fucking finally, I get mine. Aslin Brewing, I'm going to ride this train with you until the wheels fall off. World class DIPA game, stouts and barleywines need some more work. Eatin' good in the motherf*ckin' neighborhood

 

@LanguedocRocks. Growlers are $18 at Aslin.

@Dirtyhands. I love their stouts at Aslin. The deceiver base is so easy to drink. I'll put it up against Founders's Imperial any day. That being said, it's so easy to drink it taste like an "every day drinking beer." Have you had their Mexican Hot Chocolate? It's better than Abraxas. Stamp it. Lastly, I can't wait to try their new stout. It's a totally different recipe and will clock in at 12% avb.

 

Haven't tried the hot chocolate, I'll be looking though.

 

Word is their (Aslin) next Deceiver varient will be Hazelnut, just FYI.

 

Have to respect the enthusiasm, sir. Excited to give them a try.

 

12.99 sixers of Nugget Nectar at Downtown Crown. That's a great price for anywhere in the D.C. metro area.

 

Aslin is love. Aslin is life. Great IPAs. Delicious imperial stouts.

 

Aslin is good people and good beer. Another quality addition to the scene.

 

I'm not big on Stillwater anymore, but his collaborations with ATG are usually pretty good. Anyone seen this around? It's called Give-Way.

@ConradKenney is the only one from MD to have it on here (this past Monday). You get here in MD?

Turns out Max's will have it tomorrow. Not sure I want to pay bar prices though.

 

I did! Grabbed it at OLAR. Haven't see it in stores anywhere though unfortunately. Definitely worth trying. Lots of grapefruit

 

Also, looks like State Line has cans according to their website. So I would think it might start popping up other places soon!

Were you referring to the Grimm tap takeover at Beltway? How were their draft prices? Their growler prices are ridiculous. Did MoCo annex Beltway Brewing?

 

18 bones for a 6 beer flight. Not on the cheaper side, but worth it.

Beltway started pouring Lambo Door samples for people out of cans who had to wait in that line. Classy people.

 

In Baltimore, Lighthouse has Sump and Madagascar. Madagascar also at Canton Crossing.
