well of course. i'd rather go to Aslin than track down some Tree House. but i'm not saying Aslin is as good as Tree House. It might be a much better value, though.

 

With you here. Not sure why anyone has to go to the extremes of crowning nascent breweries as the pinnacle of our industry. Ocelot and Aslin can just be wonderful and new in their own right without being compared to 5+ year old breweries who have had much more time to refine recipes and dial in their process.

For my own means, if Ocelot and Aslin are in the same ballpark and infinitely easier for me to get, I'm picking them 99.9% of the time over things I have to travel/trade for.

Fair Lakes WF still has some Fruit Basket IPA for sale. Get it while you can, because it is delicious and canned as of 2/4/16.

 

Aslin is releasing a new juicy ipa with a blend of Australian hops on saturday, 11am. Growler fills. "Neutrino"

FYI - you guys should follow Reston Wine Cabinet on FB - they get a lot of great beers. Just found out about them.

 

WF Alexandira has 6 different Maine beers (King Titus, Zoe, Mo, Peeper Ale, Mean Old Tom & Weez).

 

that beer is so good!

 

Gonna make a gose from the salt in this post, age it in a barrel that I took a crap in, produce 6 bottles of it at $22 a piece, release it at 2pm on a wednesday and see if you show up.

 

Just picked up two of those last week.

 

Is it aged in Armagnac barrels?
