2 cans of BA ten fidy still on shelf at k-1.
I picked up some BA Ten Fidy last night at about 8:30 at Norm's and they still had about 8 cans left.
If you're still looking for something to do tonight, Abraxas is on tap at Jack Rose.
And CM / KCM is not on tap at Rustico
Does the Leesburg Total Wine have Wicked Weed sours? Not necessarily right now, but usually? I'm going to blow a gift card at one of the Nova TWs this week. Would I be better off at TW McLean?
Recently they've (leesburg) had a few, can't speak for McLean but you can always call or check online. I wouldn't expect a huge selection at any of them.
If anyone buys the bourbon county coffee from u st wine and beer, don't. Bought a bottle of 2015, they have about 6 cases, and it's tarty.
Damn. I warned people of this a while ago. All of their bcbs is 2015. Yes organic still has some 2016 bcbs/bw
Forgive me, but 'Organic'? Where is that?
Anybody been by Dominion recently do they still have any of those J. Wakefield collaboration cans The Big Show or Richard Persimmons
They have 6 cases of 2015 coffee? I wonder if a distributor sold them all of those recently knowing that they were likely bad. I can't imagine they received that much last year and didn't sell out of it immediately.
"Yes! Organic" is on 14th St just around the corner from U Street Wine and Beer.
I wonder if they know they're bad.
If so, one call to their Goose Island rep could rectify this immediately.
Yeah, they are all stacked right next to cashier. I didn't ask when they got it.
I told them when I saw that they were all 2015 that they could be infected. The employee smiled and stated yeah but not all of them were.
Who knows if they horded them from last year, but they did state they sold out of 2016.
I was under the impression that all 2015 coffee and BW were infected.
You were misinformed.
They were issuing refunds for any and all coffee and barleywine, so...
I haven't heard anyone say they got a good bottle of either.
I'm in town for a few nights... Any 2016 GI BCBS anywhere? I was overseas until Christmas, so I haven't been in the hunt. But I did get to try some in Chicago on Nye.
According to DCBeer, DC will be getting a bunch of Dark Horse stuff, include BBA Plead the 5th. Have never had the BA version, but the base beer is superb so this is excellent news. From the looks of it just draft, but you never know if bottles will show.
Any Singlecut Half Stack bottles make it down here yet?
10 Cans of BA Ten Fidy @ Wine Cabinet Reston - No limit
I'm sure there are a number of places, but one I've seen just now is Irving (3100 Mt Pleasant NW). $14.99 though, regular only.
There are no bottles of BBA Plead the 5th in DC market. However, there are bottles of Plead the 5th.
BA 10-50, Bourbon County Stout, Rare, & BW at Metro on Columbia Ave, and Westy 12 at Sherry's, all for typically exorbitant prices.
Has anyone seen any DDH Two to the Dome in NoVA? It looks like K1 got some in, but I haven't seen a single other place in the area get any.
Whole Foods Fair Lakes got Two to the Dome. Doesn't state DDH on the can but a comment on FB suggests it is DDH.
Save your money. It's sub par.
Any places besides Dominion, Norms, and Arrowine get MZ Vanilla Hazelnut?
All TWs will be getting next week. I believe MyLHBS will be getting it too
The Brew Shop in Courthouse got some
Hazelnut Vanilla Marshal Zhukov
Wake-n-Bake Tart Cherry
@WF Fair Lakes
BCBS and Barleywine were at Conn Ave as of 2 hours ago. Barleywine behind the counter. Both 1 pp.
$12 for BCBS, $14 for Barleywine...not bad.
Imperial Mexican Biscotti Cake Break at Craft Beer Cellar, limit 2, so good quantity.
Also Dino S'mores and a new drop of Michigan Maple Jesus.
MZ Vanilla Hazlenut not worth $22, right?
I mean i hear its pretty rough, and worse than regular MZ, but 22 is a pretty fair price.
I think it was $20 at the brewery. It's currently got a 4.34 with ~75 reviews, so it can't be that rough..
