In other news, bottles of Cascade Apricot popping up on shelves. If you like extremely sour sours, this one is worth a try. I had, I think the '13, and it was the most sour beer i've ever had. But the current vintage may not be quite as bad.

 

I've never been there--what's it like?

 

never been this new location, either. went to the Eat Bar in Arlington before they closed. Beer selection was good, not as good as it is now, though. Food was real good. American fare. Pricey $$$. Their location in Arlington had a pretty cool back bar that was like a private room. not sure if they decided to keep that design feature.

their barracks row menu is smaller. not that many options.

 

Ya I live down the street and like them a lot. It's rarely all that crowded since they are new. Their food is by red apron. Beer list was great last few times I've been, ocelot, st. somewhere, alpine, tired hands, and even KBS for a little bit after it came out.

Your experience apparently does not match my own, since I really did not like the base Raspberry Stout when I've had it.

 

Anything good expected to hit the area in the next couple of weeks? Inventory starting to run low.

 

I went last night. Its a cool spot, but at $8-12 pours, it would be tought to get your full stumble on. They had the Stillwater-Dugges Tropic Punch, which I really liked, and bottles of Crooked Stave Vielle for $12, which is a really small markup over retail.

 

I'll have to pre-game at the Tune Inn...

The distributor that is bringing Avery back to MD is also bringing in Duck Rabbit. Hadn't seen that posted anywhere.

 

Stateline in Elkton has a modest amount of Rodenbach Alexander.

 

They had at least seven bottles on the shelf yesterday when I stopped by late afternoon.

Saw it at Wegman's (Dulles/Sterling) last week, $29.99.

 

Saw it FL WF last night for 27.99$ per. Or around that price range.

For anyone who's tried it, is it honestly worth it? Any gems?
