Had hidden hopyard 3 at DTC on Friday on draft, went back Sat. morning for growler was totally different beer, not sure what the hell happened but color and taste was way off. Friday looked like OJ, Sat was pretty damn clear.

i feel like that happened with Citra Splendor as well.

Weird draft reports on the HH3. I've had 3 out of my 4 pack--cloudy juice bombs that I love more with every can. Anyway, HH4 is in the works. I'm hearing similar ABV to HH3, but Nelson and Azacca hops. Can't wait for that!

All my cans have been hazy and fruity; haven't seen it on draft. Happy that the alcohol is a bit lower than the volume 2 also.

Really not loving anything from Manor Hill, I agree that HH3 is the best so far but I get a weird medicinal taste with most of their beers. Not sure if it's the yeast or what, almost has a Belgian quality to it.

I love the Grisette, but everything else has been very hit or miss. Seems like a lot of their hoppy beers have some oxidation issues; that would explain the huge variations in color for citra splendor and hidden hopyard

Was lucky to get 2 cans of citra splendor from a buddy. Absolutely delicious. Mine was hazy and almost pulpy with it's dark orange shade. Shame there isn't much consistency.

was at bluejacket on friday. they had lost weekend, their citra ipa, on draft and cask. cask was murky oj, regular draft was clear. same exact beer. could that be the difference?

Cask beer oxidizes quickly, which can cause the beer to change color. That is why some people suspect the cans are causing an oxidation issue.

Has anyone seen Founders Sumatra Brown in DC proper? I know June is the last month for the beer according to Founders' availability calendar.

It was all over the place a month or so ago. Not sure who might still have it in stock though.

I brought home a few 4 packs of Citra Splendor from the brewery about a month ago, had no issues other than too malty of a recipe imo! Would buy some more though if I saw it.

I picked up 3 or 4 4-packs maybe 4-6 weeks ago (with Lagunitas Waldo) from Schneiders. I saw it at WF P. St. maybe 3 weeks ago also.

Got to try Lemon Pulp and 10 Layer from RAR recently - both very good! Probably the best DMV beers I've had the luxury of trying.

I wish some of those saw distro. Would love to try them. The Nectar, despite the strong following, really doesn't do it for me.

I saw them at Wine Source last week. Also Honeygo in Perry Hall had IBB cans last week, they did not get any EMJ.

Hey guys/gals! Little update on this Saturdays release 6/18 @ 11am. Looking like availability will be (100) cases each of Pulp(orange) & Hyde, plus (50) cases of Puck Face. Cambridge is allowing me to shut the street down again, so we'll have grills, a smoker, our buddies over at Choptank Oyster Co shucking oysters, all the releases available inside and outside on draft, plenty of outside seating on the street for boozing (drinking will be permitted on the street between 10am-6pm), live bands, and so on......the weather is looking f'n money too! Hope to see everyone.
