heard some chatter about Modern Times coming to DC with limited distro.....

 

2 per beer. so if they are doing crowlers are multiple beers, less and less likely each week, you can get more than two.

 

As of late, Aslin's been releasing two beers on Thursdays and one beer on Saturdays. The beers are only available for crowlers on the day they're released. They're pre-filling crowlers, and when they're out, the beers will be available for on premises consumption only. I went on Saturday and arrived maybe 30 minutes after they opened. It wasn't slammed and they had plenty of crowlers of Blueberry/Vanilla Bringing Sexy Back available. Everything that had been released on Thursday was available on tap, but not for take-away.

 

Thanks for clarity. That is important info. to know for someone traveling in/not a local (crowler / carryout is only on a release day).

Actually when I think about it, this probably is a great model for those small breweries that make great beers and draw in big crowds. If you are a local, and just like to stop by for a pint here and there, go on non-release days. Don't have crowds/long lines to deal with if you're just preferring that brewery as your local hangout/watering hole.

Yep! Seems like right now, Fridays and Sundays at Aslin are only for drinking on-premises unless they happen to have crowlers left over from the day before (which hasn't happened since they implemented this new process).

apparently they have 150 crowlers to go of each the berliner and the saison today. i think still 2pp of each. soo, sometimes you can get a crowler to go on a friday. at least when it isn't their IPAs.

WFP has Clown shoes Trillionaire. They reversed the layout and put the bombers on shelf and the smaller formats in the fridge, and now my brain is scrambled.

 

If anyone wants to gamble and possibly waste some money, OTWOA canned 7/15 is at Dominion.

The keg of AleWerks Secret Admirer they just had was A+. It's up there with the best of them IMO.
