That's strange, I don't remember them adding huge markups whenever they got out of market beers. There would be one, for sure, but never as bad as P Street Wines or the place on L & 20th...

 

Yesterday I scored a bomber of Stone IPA produced in their new Richmond facility. It was great, super fresh too. #happy

 

Interesting. My impression has always been there's a mark-up as soon as it enters their doors.

Connecticut Avenue? Generally speaking they're not really more expensive than most stores in the area.

I think the '14 one, when I worked in retail, H+W got 6cs for NoVA. WF alex did get one.

Excited to find this today. But drinking it now and it's bad. I usually love Stone IPA but this is just bitter, not much else going on.

Looks like Churchkey has Step Dad Chaperone from The Veil on tap. How the hell did that happen?

 

They had Step Dad Chaperone and IdontwanttoBU on tap last weekend. You can serve pretty much anything in DC if the brewers will send it to you.

 

Yeah, just surprised is all. Looks like they're have a few more Veil beers this week for IPA today.

 

Anyone know if BN is still there? Had I seen this earlier, I probably would have driven down there this morning.

If I don't see it there tomorrow morning, I might pay just about anything just to knock that off the want list.

 

According to a friend, it's all gone.
