One of the best big IPAs I have on draft all year. Very excited. Hope there's plenty to go around.

was at Ocelot last nite, confirmed 30 bbls...500 or so 500 ml bottles too...but draft should be plenty...I may or may not have had a taste last nite from the fermenter...

Have high hopes. Nothing really changed other than some extra hops in whirlpool and dry-Hop. How they're able to get that beer so dry is magical to me.

Had no idea they were bottling. Have they released info on when and how that will be done?

They've been bottling for at least a year now. All of their barrel-aged beers have been available in bottles (Gravity Always Wins is available now, Painless is coming soon), and they typically have 1-2 of their IPAs available in bottles for $5-6.

GAW was REALLY good, had one side by side when Backwoods came out... it wasn't even close, hometown crushed it (the 750 was more than the whole 4x12 but that's not important always). Highly recommend that beer.

Cat out of the bag. Had a sneak peak today of Oliver's Brewing Crown of Lies DIPA. Shit is the bombdiggity. Goes on sale at the brewery tomorrow, 4 packs at DTC tonight I believe. Sooo good.

Agreed. I thought it was very good. DTC had them out on the floor around 2-3 yesterday. Looks like they had a good amount, so I'm sure they have 4 packs left.

Ocelot is quietly making the best BA beers in the region, and its really not even close.

While I didn't have them side by side I'd say I liked Lost Rhino Dark Hours more than BA My Only Friend. Either way I always try Ocelot's BA beers although I wish they bottled those in the 500 mL.

Speaking of which, it looks like this Lost Rhinos Dark Hours dropped this week at the brewery.

Dark Hours is a great beer for sure. I like BA MOF and Painless more, but they are in the same conversation.

Based on their latest Instagram post looks like Toppling Goliath cans are coming to CBC H St next Saturday. Dorothy and pseudosue from the looks of it. Wouldn't be surprised if Golden Nugget is the 3rd one they're referring to.

WF clarendon has $5 pours/ $12 32oz growlers of the newest DH. That's a much better deal than you'll find the bottles, if you're planning on drinking.

It's tasty, I didn't have it last year, had more of a dry hopped character ala BA rasputin, nothing wrong with that, but not just "bourbon soaked brownie" the hordes are always hoping for.
