Perhaps not super fresh, but it doesn't seem to have a significant drop-off. Don't regret picking it up.

Outside DC - it's good, but not worth either of those drives.

Has anyone seen Rye on Rye lingering in the Baltimore area? I missed it at my local store

Its drinking great, I think Wings holds up very well, especially if refrigerated the whole time, which they do at the brewery.

You know, I agree with this wholeheartedly. I actually prefer OTWOA with about 4 or 5 weeks on it. Fresh, it's super dank and still delicious, but with a month or so on it, it mellows slightly and just becomes this chrysanthemum of joy.

I like it better fresh, but I know others who prefer this beer with a few weeks on it. Definitely still a very good beer at one month old.

Fresh Wings is incredible. I bought a three six packs of the 9/15 batch and drank my last two cans tonight. They were still delicious, but not quite as juicy as they were 2-3 weeks ago.

I would concur. I recently finished up my last one from a sixer that was canned in mid August. I love dank beers so fresh it was pure joy. Held onto some cans and tried at 5 weeks and then the final one at 8 weeks. Still very good throughout!

Looks like your in the district but Foster's Grille in Chantilly had Harvest on Saturday. First time I went there and was surprised by the draft list. [IMG]

Hill Farmstead just registered this as a beer name. Expect a C&D letter, John.

No word yet that I have seen. I'm guessing HW, will at the very least, announce additional details about the release early next week.

Did I hear right that Trickery is going to go into distro this year? I've generally been disappointed with Hardywood's BA offerings in the past, but this seems like a beer that was actually made to age in barrels vs. their usual base beer + 3-4 months in barrels for the hell of it formula.
