Hahah harrys just got a few cases in, so someones giving it out still . Additionally, u street wine and beer has 2014 bcbbw for 22 in the fridge up front. I just grabbed a 2016 and 2014 bcbcs there as well, he wasn't sure if they were the last ones or not.

 

I saw KCM at Modern Liquors right by convention center. They wanted like $20 per. There was also some BCBS for 18. I almost bit on a FW Anniv but they wanted $30.

 

20 on the KCM isn't terrible. Did they have a lot?

For those who missed the 3F & Cantillon store releases this week, I've been told that their importer has "taken notice" of the DC beer scene, and we can probably expect more like that in the future...

 

My hope is that Shelton sends enough so that bottle shops get some, rather than everything going to NRG and Pizza P.

Damn the Yes! By me is slacking hahahaha. Well it's nice to see all the OG dropping around. It would be nice if more shops in DC used social media.

 

Shelton was without a distributor in DC for several years there after they dropped DOPS in, I believe, late 2012 or early 2013. Pekko started carrying Shelton stuff in late 2015 or early 2016, and have been gradually ramping up their portfolio and reach since. From my understanding NRG and PP were getting stuff directly from Shelton through personal connections. It's great that we're finally seeing the full Shelton lineup showing up in stores in DC again!

It is by far. Got a six at Harris Teeter west of Leesburg with same dates. Historically we would get a first week in Jan canning date and see the cans mid to late Feb.... Had a can last night and I liked it. More what I remembered from a few years ago. It is NOT a NE style juice bomb. But it is a balanced although a little sweet DIPA. Well done and much better fresh I may add.
