As in TrillBOMB! from Trillium Brewing? No, I dont think that or any Trillium makes it out of the Boston area

Yes. That's what I assumed and was just about to update my post. DTC showed up as a place TrillBombs were spotted on Untappd. I just got off the phone with DTC and they said they don't have it.

I can confirm one guy in line for the hyde release had a bottle and was sharing. Hence, untappd checkins

Gotcha. Thanks. I've never been to the store and didn't know they did bottle shares. Good to know though. I need to get out there.

I'd caution people from checking in a beer that a store doesn't have, if you like the place. Especially an out of market beer. There are competing stores that will call ABC on that store and try and get them in trouble.

I know DTC has a corking fee, but not sure if that encompasses beer brought in from off site, or just stuff bought from the cooler. Not sure what laws in MoCo are for that vs. NOVA

Yeah I'm not expert in MoCo, but it's a big no no in VA, if you don't serve on premise. DTC is different than most bottle shops because it serves on premises. So a corking fee would allow you to bring something from home, if the law allowed that.

I don't think this was the case that day. It was a can release from RAR and people were lined up outside the store early in the morning before they opened, drinking beer in line. I'm not sure if you can regularly bring stuff in the store from outside and drink it or not usually

DTC was definitely ok with the bottle share on Saturday. As long as we were in the patio. So I'm assuming it's legit.

If anyone is still looking for Firestone Walker Bravo, there is still a decent quantity at Lost Dog South Arlington @10.39.

...wonder if it'll last until when I'm visiting my sister next week?

It isn't limited per person, so it seems a little questionable. But I don't think it's even hit dc yet, so there could be some around.

Bravo stuck around Maryland for at least a week even with some places having no limits. There is probably still some left now if you know where to look. I would bet it will be available in DC next week.

Neat. I've never been to the Columbia Pike location of Lost Dog. I don't even know if it was there when I lived in DC, but ...sweet.

Just having a can of RAR's Edward Hyde and it's really good. Doesn't drink like 9.2%. Probably best I only have the one can. Definitely my favorite beer from RAR thus far.

I stopped by Lost Dog close to closing, and they only had two bottles out. Unless they have more in the back, that probably won't last a week. They did have some Sump lingering, though.

In other news, SMS seems to be at every NoVA TW, as well as CBC.

Never ever bet on FW availability in DC! You must be new here.

Wine source has it and Mace Liquors has a good bit as well since nobody buys craft there. Both as of today.
