Notable Releases - DC/NOVA/MD

I've been hearing conflicting reports that they were promised last week but never happened, now they're saying next week. It did hit stores in nova recently, already sold out in most places.

 

Whole Foods on Old Keene Mill Rd Springfield has a ton of Parabola. Was there 4 hours ago and got 10 - no limits. WF Alexandria releases on Wednesday next week.

 

Yeah. Unfortunately for them I bought 8

 

Not a critique of you because I would do something similar, but this is what annoys me about the new Firestone Walker bottles. A lot of places that normally get this stuck with the old 1 per person limits (e.g. Arrowine, K-1, Lost Dog) while a few places have no limit. The result is a few people jackpotting (and good for them) while a lot of us are having to chase harder to end up with less parabola. The little boxes are adorable though.

 

I agree, when we went to TW Alexandria last week, dude told us there initially was no limit, apparently someone came in and bought almost all of them and we were limited 1 pp.

 

Should be this week.

 

Thanks for the heads up. I assumed all of NOVA was wiped out. I went this morning and picked up a few, but left several there. There were at least six when I left, but they may have had more stocked somewhere. They are near the tap station.

 

Has anyone seen Parabola in Baltimore? Or any indication of when it might land?

 

Yeah I can't lie 10 total is across my sister my brother in law and myself. When I inito ally got there I was told by the lady that it was a 2 per person. I called my brother in law that I found a place and to come out and get 2 but he told me that the new guy who replaced the lady at the cheese and beer counter says to him "I don't care if you wipe me clean of the entire amount we got plenty for everyone" so he just grabbed 6. Not sure why the lady up front initially said 2 per which seemed fair and then the next guy goes rogue. Wegmans in Alexandria is releasing their allotment on April 18th also I found out.

was able to score some of the last few 4 packs of sip of sunshine at wf foggy bottom i think there were 3 left around noon. jealous of you DC folks that get these amazing events this week.

 

My wife was out of town this past week and gets back tonight. I am getting divorced when she opens the fridge.

That is absurdly overpriced.

 

Any body have any faith that 3 Star can collabs will be worth the trip over there on Tuesday?

 

I just left WF P Street and they still had what appeared to be a decent amount behind the bar. KBS has been way easier to find this year than most.
