Agree on the Corruption comments. Seems like since opening, Public and Corruption have become more and more similar. I know they are working hard to fully supply their markets, and good on them for the success, but I too would like to see some more variation for the local die-hards like myself.

Also, is this the appropriate forum for this? I thought there was a DC specific one?

You will need to cross post this in the DC only if you want them to see it

They did exactly that, i think the cinnamon is a touch too strong IMO, but that will die off some with time, and the chillies are amped up, I had the exact same opinion last year on this, to tame, not enough chili spice,

It is strong than last year on the cinnamon and chillies but tamer than abraxas to put it in perspective

There's still a bottle of Hardywood rum barrel pumpkin sitting on the shelf at the Fairfax Wegmans if anyone cares.

Perfect Pour just post on FB that they had it. I'd expect all the other places in the area to get it within the next few days if they don't have it by now.

Well one is BA (double B'd) and one is fresh, so not really apple to apple. I'd like to find a bottle or two though, give it a whirl. Anything in the realm of abraxas is worth trying, typically.

If they could just get OTWOA carbonated at all, that would be a start. It's pretty awesome when good or on draft but, man am I done w/ trekking there and forking over $18/per for flat dipa. And it takes me less than 20min to get there, btw.

That's interesting. I regularly buy/drink OTWOA cans and I haven't noticed that. $17.99 + tax is a bit pricey but they are delicious compared to anything else we can get around here. Especially when really fresh.

Kettle and Grain in Leesburg got Arrogant bastard boxes, had some fresh Jai Alai, had a few bottles of Alewerks Secret Admirer, and got a new case of Backwards Bastard in today.

I'm a Wings fan, but Double Duckpin is cheaper and better.

Double Duckpin is pretty awesome. I had a growler a few weeks ago and thoroughly enjoyed it. Got to say though that Ocelot's Kiss the Sky DIPA is my favorite local thus far. Near perfect IME.

I agree. Double Duckpin isn't always available but they've canned five or so batches in the past year and it's easy to find when it drops. Besides being cheaper and better of course.

I like DDuckpin, but I'm gonna have to disagree about it being better than Wings. I guess it's a matter of preference, but I'd take fresh Wings all day.

Saw it at PP and AA county stores, it's hiding between the pallets of nasty pumpkin and winter ales
