That's some BS. I like the folks at Old Line and I've found some gems there from time to time but BS like that really makes consider if I should stop going there.

 

Bourbon GBS at TJoes in Reston as well. Maybe two cases left. $14 per. Bunch of guys were snagging multiples while I was in there.

 

Any limit on the Bourbon GBS at TJ's? Doesn't look like it based on the sign.

Fairfax TW said they sold out yesterday.

 

just left TJ's Clarendon. No limits and the stacks look to be at about half of what they were in the picture.

 

With people walking out with multiple cases, I'd say those odds are slim. Isn't this beer like 1 or 2 a person at the brewery?

On an unrelated note, Dominion had some Terrapin Tiramisu-Hoo. Not much though, and that is 1 bottle per.

 

I heard it was 8 bottles/person at the brewery.

I think it would have even less this year with the increase in quantity.

 

Maybe 20 or 30 will get you that coveted bottle of Pappy?

 

This is going back a bit, but I couldn't agree more with Blue Monday. Mouthfeel is a bit too thin and the fruit notes in the coffee take away from it. Hopefully it mellows out some with time.

 

trade value is ok. i got some good stuff for it last year - some new glarus, even a toppling goliath. i don't think it will fetch as well this year. christmas morning, kentucky christmas morning and apple brady gbs will all have much higher trade value, though.

 

stuff always last longer at planet wine than anywhere else. everyone forgets about it.
