Regular Notch Pils drinker, but man, The Standard is just a whole nother level....just awesome!

 

Were cans making it into distribution?

 

Yes. Saw it pop up in the North Shore around places closest to Notch. Fort Point Market had it for a minute. It's been in the burbs as well.

 

I got it at Fort Point Market last night, they had at least 4 more 4 packs left

 

The Standard is delicious. I'll be grabbing another four pack.

 

I may be in Salem later on today. It’s about 30/70 of my being able to stop in for a couple beers (so you’re saying there’s a chance!). That said, what are the packaged takeaway option at Notch? Anything special? What are the prices like? I’d like to at worst grab a quick beer and take some to go.

we have Standard cans to go by the 4pk. you can also get anything on our menu to go via the Quart Can. great place to spend a rainy day...have fun!

 

Or, instead of taking a risk on something that may not have been updated over the course of Friday night/Saturday morning, ask a community of beer ... hmmm, let’s call them advocates, who might be well-equipped to help answer my question.

Cool, thanks. After seeing the water in my basement, I’m going to need a bunch of Standards.

 

Here now. Pretty chill. Had a trip in the back of my mind today as I was running errands. Glad I did. Tap list is awesome as usual. Last beer will be psychocandy. Easily one of the best beers I’ve had this year back in January. Plus, crowler orders for it came rolling once I told buddies I’d be making the trip.

Really wish I lived closer coming from Cambridge. Maybe get here half a dozen times a year and it’s easily one of my favorite places to have a beer(s). Top 3 in the region for me with Suarez and Hill.

 

Anyone see The Standard four packs south of Boston? Love to find some in the Mansfield/Foxboro area.

 

The Standard is my new favorite beer. I snagged another four pack.

 

Walked away with 3, 4-packs, on my way out the door on Saturday. So good.

 

Any idea if cans of The Standard will still be around Thanksgiving weekend?

 

Are you finding this somewhere around Somerville? I haven't seen it at my usual spots.

 

I picked it up at Ball Square. It was one of their beers of the month, so it's in that fridge, not in the usual spot Notch beers are.

If I recall correctly, there is only a limited amount of this stuff that hit distrobution, which is why I picked up another 4 pack Saturday.

 

Where can I find the Standard in Boston or the South shore?

 

There were only 3 cans left of the Standard a CBC Newton when I picked up my 4 pack on Friday.

 

Total Wine in Danvers had some when I stopped by last week. Worth a call if there's one located in your area.
