Any idea what shops got drops of Psycho Candy?

 

Anyone know what the taproom hours are this week? Obviously closed on Thanksgiving, but hoping for standard hours on Friday. I couldn’t raise anyone on the phone at the taproom and can’t seem to find anything but standard weekly hours online.

 

Ball Square still has a bunch. Minus the two 4 packs I snagged.

 

Just grabbed the Harvest Ale and totally agree. Great beer, and I'm not usually the biggest Red IPA or amber fan.

 

Also saw it at Pemberton Farms today.

 

Normal hours all week but closed on Thanksgiving. Cheers!

 

What’s a good place to have dinner in Salem? Good draft list is a plus but don’t care too much about that as I can order wine. Italian, seafood, eclectic, whatever. Any suggestions welcome. Just not looking to be rushed.

Gulu-Gulu Cafe is one of the better options for beer, but it's a cafe so may not be ideal for dinner. I like Turner's or Finz for seafood. People also seem to like Sea Level, but I can't recommend it - had a poor experience. Bambolina is a popular and trendy spot for Italian. Adriatic is a good alternative for Mediterranean.

 

I've heard it's good, but overpriced. That may be due to people comparing it to it's soon to be former sister restaurant, the Blue Ox in Lynn.

 

Wouldn't eat at gulu and prefer Bambolina

 

If you're up for Mexican, Howling Wolf is fantastic and walking distance from Notch. Very casual and loud/busy though, so not a place for a quiet romantic dinner.

I haven’t had burritos or nachos that are better. I think last time I was there I walked by around 4 and there was already a long wait. Luckily when I came back around 5ish two seats just opened at the bar.

 

I have made it into Howling Wolf. I agree it is quite good. Was in there last winter on a weekday afternoon at like 4:00 and the place was really busy. Very good food.

Ledger can get very busy. I like Kokeshi. Good Asian food and pretty solid draft list.
