Darn. Wish they had this when I stopped by yesterday. Regardless, it was a wonderful day to have an Ungespundet on the patio.

Was it just the one cask? Interesting it took less than 45 minutes in Brighton.

It took less than 45 minutes in Brighton because I had no parenting things last week. Today I was busy nonstop so it was available all day.

this well played post made my day :joy:

The parent struggle is real when you can’t drain a pitch lined

Yup just the one. And the weather was equally shitty on both Saturdays.

I was going to Casks on Park and wanted to swing through to try the beer cheese. I was shocked the Stichfass was still going at 2:15.

Maybe there weren’t lager heads sitting in their cars waiting for Notch to open at noon like there were in Brighton .

Can't believe 12th anniversary sold out so fast.

Sitting here in Brighton wishing I could’ve tried the Pitch. The kegs have been guzzled through this weekend as well. Smallest list I’ve seen in a while

Jedenactka has made several appearances (and I think Dv was going to distro anyways) so hopefully there will be ample opportunity to have it over the next month or so.

J is the new polotmavy so it'll be around. Not sure the differences between Dv and the other pales will be worth having it around more given the more arduous brewing process, but hopefully, Chris and co brew it again. I'll be on the hunt for distro.

Woot! After striking out at the Brighton location on Sunday, I was able to pick up 4-packs of both Dvanáctka and Suspect Device at Ball Sq Fine Wines this afternoon. They had a big stack of other Notch limited release cans too including Tenner, Lost in a Dream, and Psycho Candy.

Kinda bummed with the can selection at Brighton last night. Grabbed some Alt, but no Tenner, Standard, or the two new releases. Enjoyed Dvanactka on draft however.

Get your Tenner at BSFWS soon, because their beer buyer and I are drinking most of it. Just like we did with the 10 cases of The Standard that they got in a couple months ago.
They must have blackmail photos of the distro rep or something, they are getting huge drops of great Notch stuff.
Also, if you don’t see it, ask. Sometimes they have a pile in the part of the cooler you cant get to.
Has anyone checked their Malden or other locations to see if the Notch assortment is as good as the Somerville spot? Just curious.

If you’re drinking 10 cases I’m not even mad, that’s amazing!

Hopefully you picked up some beer too.

Yeah their beer buyer loves great beer. I’ve talked lagers with him extensively. Big Schilling guy too if I recall correctly.

I’ve only been to the Malden location a couple times. Really nice store, totally worth swinging by…plus, it’s right by Idle Hands and they’re releasing Bluma soon.

But I recall the beer options there not being as diverse as Ball Square. As I said though, only been there a couple times. So take my opinion with a grain of barley.

I kind of hate Notch sometimes.

Saw the PLP for tomorrow on Twitter and immediately thought, “Ok, I need to be back in Somerville by around 2ish…I think there’s time.

Then saw your second post here…ugh.
