Anyone one else planning on going. I love the metal melt it does to these beers and can't wait to take down several.
Of course! Works really well with the 1 liter Steinkrug if you're a Krug Club member. Looking forward to the beer releases too. Loggerhead of course. But also the Helles Bock, the Sticke Alt, and Rauch Helles Spezial. I imagine the poker would be real interesting with the Sticke Alt and Rauch Helles Spezial. @steveh
Have been to a few. It hit the first time but since I’ve just preferred the OG beer more. I do remember Chris pulling the poker out of the fire and ash and going straight to Ems Krug. She’s been traumatized by eating the ash and taste of that stuff mixed with caramelized beer since ha. They kindly replaced her beer no questions asked ha. There were so many floaties
I think the bigger problem for me is trying to drink all the strong beers in one festival...I'll probably return on Sunday or the following weekend.
