Notification emails request

I read the rationale for the notification email changes. Makes sense.

I was wondering if there was a way to give us the ability to manually make a change in a setting just to get text for private messages only. This does 2 things.

1. By manually making the setting change to get private messages I understand replying to the email means I'm replying to an email. Put that in writing when I make the manual change and have a check box showing that. Make me show I understand replying to an email doesn't mean I'm replying to a private message.

2. When I decide to reply to private message I still have to log in and open the message to do it. So this change wouldn't effect the revenue side for the site either.

Bottom line: it creates a privacy issue for me. The way I don't like users seeing when I'm online I don't like them seeing when I read my private messages.

Another possibility is to create a privacy feature where I can decide if users can see my private message read date/time or not.
