I've been adding a good number of new places to the database recently (I just got back from a trip to the UK, and a lot of the real ales I reviewed were brewed by small, new breweries that hadn't already been added), and even though it says on the page for adding a place that the user will be notified of a decision in either way, I haven't received any notification for the several breweries that have, indeed, been added. Several more are currently in the approval queue, and I was just wondering whether or not to expect notification on these.

It's not a big deal if whoever is doing the work of adding the places (Bros? BFGs?) doesn't want to take the extra time of sending a conversation, but maybe you'd want to remove the language saying that we can expect this.

    Thanks, and cheers!

I added a place and got a message sent to the old beermail account. Check that and see if they went there.

You are indeed correct, sir. I hadn't thought to click on "old messages," since the icon was no longer lighting up with the warm yellow glow of "New Beermail!". Oh, for the old days. Anyway, thanks a lot!

Well, now that this has been resolved, attention UK BAs: there are now 10 - yes, 10 - new breweries listed on BA where I, a lowly colonial, am the only reviewer. Give Tempest, Moncada, Blue Bee, Ha'Penny, Kent, Cromarty, By the Horns, Red Fox, Two Roses, and Worth some love!
