Noting Place Ratings vs Reviews + Attributes

    When I click on the general places page, or a specific city guide, on the right side is a column with "recent visits". Can a notation made to show which of these are reviews? When I see a place I've been to, or one I intend on visiting, I like to see a meaty review, and hate wasting my time finding it's just a number without substantiation.

    Agreed! It's really annoying scrolling down a page just to find a single extensive review.

    Can we beerfly rate using attributes? I tried today and it was still precise or add your own; no drop down for attributes....

    We have no plans of denoting if something is a rating or review on those pages.
    As per the updates, we brought back attributes for beer ratings only. And we currently have no plans on bring them back for places; for reasons already discussed in other threads.

    That said, we could look at only listing the most recent reviews.

    Positive step... But I really HATE seeing a place that the general populace has given overall high marks to get an exceedingly low rating from someone, clicking on it, and it's just a number... no reason why.... whatever...

    I think we already established that it bugs you. :wink: But ratings are not going way, so some of you will need to get used to seeing them; low, high, and in-between.
