Join us on October 19th as we put our Wake Up the Night grant to work to host a fun & festive day full of non-alcoholic beers, plus some NA wines, NA cocktails, and lots of activities. Date: 10/19/24 Time: 11am-10pm Place: Garage B Events (1420 Soldiers Field Rd, Boston, MA 02135) We’ve teamed up with Sipland to produce the best-possible beer garden experience for all of you. This event is free to enter, and we'll have NA beers, other NA drinks, food vendors, food trucks, games for the kids--and more!
Aren’t there things like this now. Block party, street fair, “fest” of one name or another- Music, food, games, face painting of course, blah blah. Isn’t it a beer garden because there is beer? It’s in the name. I suppose you can limit your beer garden to NA but, why bother if all the other existing events by other names can do that too.
If they had alcohol at this, you'd get the beer snobs complaining about kids running around at their Oktoberfest and you'd get the parents complaining about drunk people swearing around their kids. I'm not going to go to this but I can see the appeal for some part of the population. I think there's an actual brewery a few steps away in any case
