@aschwab I know you've been posting these for a while and I've always been curious, where do you procure this info? Label approval means these are new beers entering the state and their labels are reviewed by the government?

Do you happen to know if this takes place in every state? I'm curious if New Mexico does something similar. Either way, there are some gems in the list above like the New Belgium sour, Ivan the Terrible, and Velvet Mocha Merlin!

The TABC (Texas Alcoholic Beverage Commission) posts all beers that receive label approval and new breweries on their web site. Not sure if NM has something similar

@kmello69 pretty much covered it. TABC randomly releases label approvals on their website for the previous week, I just go through them, take out shit beer, and add a couple of details onto it. It, more or less, shows what is legal to sell in TX.

I'm with you there. I've always wondered why they put out Rodeo Clown instead of this. This is good news!
