It hit here the week of Thanksgiving last year...but the year before it was late January. In short....who the hell knows. Next week!

Has anyone tried this Kentucky Streetwalker by Naughty Brewing in Austin? It just hit Halls in DFW. An Imperial Vanilla Porter aged in bourbon barrels for a year. No reviews on it that I can find. Sounds promising though.

Abyss is releasing December 12th, so we will see it sometime in January I would assume.

I'll be in town for the holidays (Dec 24). Do you think I'll still be able to get bottles of it then?

Is this beer a bomber or 12 oz bottles? Are there usually limits on it? Is it widely available or just at a few places? Thanks for any info.

Last year it was bombers only, from what I saw. I got in a small line a few minutes before a store released it for sale (25 or 26 people there at selling time, 24 bottles available) and walked away with a bottle, but didn't go out searching any more after that. It'll probably be gone by 12/24 unless someone does a late release, but it wasn't terribly hard to find on draft last year, I don't think. I assume that will be the same this year.

If all else fails, you could try the brewery tour on 12/27.

It's not quite Bourbon County, but I liked it better than Abyss, Boulevard Smokestack BA Stout, and Prairie Coffee and Vanilla Noir last year. You don't get as much bourbon as BC and it's a bit sweeter, if I remember right.
