It doesn't matter anyway. We're all gonna get fucked on price and per person allotment :slight_frown:

Doesn't sound very "rare" to me...

If I took a weekend trip to Dallas from OKC, what would be the likelihood of finding some of those Cascade bottles?

They aren't on the shelves yet. Unless they start distributing in the next 2 weeks, then 0. It could very easily show up in two weeks, but I have not heard anything about a release date (and likely won't be this week).

don't they technically need to get label approval every year anyways since they put the year on the label or does tabc give dates a pass?

Their bottles are completely different bottle size with labels being completely different - they will need a new one.

As far as years - I don't think they need a new one each year. 512 WBADPP has only had 2 bottle approvals since 2010 as a yearly release.

I was told by one of the higher-ups at Favorite Brands that Strawberry and Blackcap Raspberry should hit by the end of this month, Blackberry and Kriek next month.

But that $60 price tag means it's rare!

Inflation in action for sure, 2010 it was a bomber and cost 50 in most retailers up north.

Definitely a slower week for approvals, but here you go. And, still, only Bourbon County Coffee and Prop are approved in 16.9oz bottles.

It is sounding more and more like GI will not be getting label approval in time.

They know how long the process takes, it just sounds like they dropped the ball. Granted, it is not confirmed by any means. BCBS may not even be approved by Black Friday.

A quote from GI from a beer store owner in DFW:

"The 2015 Barleywine and Regal Rye will not be available at this time due some shipping issues from the brewery"

I doubt it is shipping issues as I have heard all the beer is at Ben E Keiths already, but more of label approval - I could be completely wrong. We shall find out.

The Goose Island social media is still pumping up Friday. So much misinformation out there, only one place will have Rare/several places will have Rare/No one is getting Rare, etc.

I wouldn't expect anyone from the state to be doing much work next week, so if it's not there already, I can't see it getting done next week.
