My South Jersey spot only got 2 cases of cans, I grabbed the last 4 pack last night, had to drink two. This is the best Nugget Nectar I have ever had. If this turns into the next go-crazy-chase beer like it seems to be becoming, it'll be well-earned (but I will be bummed!)

It seems many stores on Long Island got NN deliveries today, when the press release said NY was getting it February 2nd. This is no complaint, I am just wondering what happened here? Was Troegs just so excited to get it out there they moved the release date or did the distributors mess up somewhere?

So sad that I agree with this so much, I loved nugget nectar and was my favorite beer release until it wasn't. Hope it's good this year, hope springs eternal!

Has anyone else confirmed that it's hit DC? Whole Foods guy just told me mid-February....

I bought bottles at Rodmans yesterday, $15/6, no cans yet. Big Tahoe Tweezer fan, was lucky enough to be in attendance for it.

Do you guys really think you have"photographic memory" for something you tasted 5 years ago? Also, ever figure that maybe your palate/personal tastes just might have shifted, not the beer recipe or brewing process?

I used to drink soda everyday, but stopped a few years ago. My taste for sugary drinks has faded, so now if I drink a Mountain Dew, I think it tastes cloyingly sweet and it's not that enjoyable. Did the recipe change or did my tastes just change?

Palates don't change. Only batches change. And they ONLY get worse. You should know this by now! To really enjoy a beer, just think about it in terms of how much better it is than next years batch.

So sick of the "it was so much better 1 to 15 years ago" trend. This beer is great every year and I'll bet the recipe has not changed. If it has, I will retract my statement.

Yep, looked like they had four cases of cans left when I picked it up and a bunch of cases of bottles.

This year they changed the recipe again. It was confirmed. They added a hop that was not in previous batches.

I still like the beer, but it just doesn't blow me away anymore. I don't know or care if it's the beer or my palate that changed. Differing opinions are still allowed, I think.

They make way too much of it to be a crazy to get beer. If you roll into any store within a week of the release it should be plentiful. Stores are getting 15+ cases. This isn't BCBCS where stores were lucky to even get 1 case.

FYI wasn't supposed to hit NYC until Monday but saw some in Good Beer last night. Bottled 1/20. Drinking absolutely awesome.
