Blanchards Allston. $13.99. Bottled 2/27. I had to check like 3 6pks and the case. But it really is 2/27.

 

I was there yesterday at around 8 p.m. I asked the guy who was stacking bottles and he said they hadn't received it yet! B0llocks!

 

Blanchards of Allston sold 13 cases out in 6 hours or so.

$12.75/six pack at Liquor World in Porter Square. Came in today, bottled 2/27. They said they have plenty.

 

I've found this beer at sketchy downtown package stores of Attleboro for $11.69. Just sayin'.

 

Sad to see stores price gouging on limited beers. Rapid Liquors in Stoneham has it at $11.39/6pk, $42.69/cs. I don't see how stores can get away with charging 20% more than that!

 

Blanchard's is more expensive than average for pretty much everything. This isn't an incident of them trying to take advantage of hype.

 

Any sightings on tap in the Boston/South Shore area?

 

I saw it at the Grain and Vine today in Hyannis. $11 or 12.99. I think there was around two cases left.

 

It's available in North Chelmsford at Drum Hill Liquors. Saw some Tuesday when I picked up Stone's 2012 Old Guardian.

 

Charles Street received quite a bit, $14 but if your desperate for some in the first wave it might be worth it. Ball Square received some too. A rep at Boston Wine Exchange told me they don't expect any this year. As of 3 pm Bauer didn't receive any.

Luke's Liquors in Rockland had a few cases on Wednesday (2/29). A 6-pack was around $12 or $13.

 

Granite had some in weymouth, $12 something a six,this was around 4pm

 

Union brew house just posted that it went on tap today.

 

mmm might have to hit UBH this weekend. Bummed to see six packs over 11.99 (i think thats what most places sold it at last year), regardless costs go up and I cant say no to this beer.
