Well, since my last post regarding an older seasonal craft stalwart (Hopslam) was met with derision - let’s try again. <sarcasm>

I’ve always been a fan of NN & look forward to it each year. Per their release on their website it should show up @ the end of January here in MA. So here we are.

Feel free to post sightings, I’d love to pick some up for the weekend & Super Bowl gatherings. And of course be sure to say how much it stinks now.

Saw it at two spots out here where the commuter rail comes to die (Liquor World and Village Liquors, both in Franklin), but only in twelve-packs. I'd prefer to pick up a sixer so I'm holding off on buying for the moment, but I'll get a twelve if I don't see 'em soon.

never really got into this beer, and I like Troeggs (Nimble Giant is fantastic and I buy that every year it comes out). Maybe I'll give it another go.

Picked up a sixer at State Street Fruit & Wines in Northampton. First time having it...honestly liking it a lot more than Hopslam, which I also had for the first time this year. And at such a better price!

Picked up a couple cans at Craft Beer Cellar in Newton yesterday. Their shipment just came in, and multiple cases were on the shelf.

Thanks for the word. I saw this yesterday and stopped by on my way through Hopkinton to grab a sixer (as well as a four-pack of Riverwalk's Black Ox dunkel, which was nice to see).

Only $12.00 for an entire stack? That's quite the deal.

It’s essentially available everywhere that has craft beer. The Big Y in my town has it. Not complaining!

Just bought some more tonight, enjoying the hell out of it. A great counter to the myriad same-tasting juice bomb IPAs out there.

Just grabbed a 6 from CBC Amesbury.

I was one of the disappointed masses last year, but my my, what a great tasting ale we have here in 2019. The delicious hoppiness is back to help tick that malt goodness.

Side note: $16.50 in CBC. Feel like I've been fecked in the ass and not even given a wee reach around.

Yeah. While I like having a CBC in my downtown, I'm really not digging these two kids that are running the franchise. Little of the beers have a visible price. Few are refrigerated. Rarely do they tell you the price of your purchase, just ring it up and ask how you'll be paying.

Probably $3 of what I just paid them will end up funding legal fees in lawsuits against them.

    Done with CBC

An all around enjoyable beer. The whole NE IPA scene is a mess right now. Too many breweries sacrificing drinkability for some stupid pursuit of visual murky muddled appeal. DDH/over oated messes. Doesn't anyone care about fermentation character any more? Sorry to sound so negative.
NN was one of the first 'craft' beers I bought a case of back in the day. I just bought my second 6er of the year. Cheers to them for maintaining the structure and integrity of this beer.
