If you can find it try it on Nitro. Have both on tap at my taproom currently and the nitro makes it a totally different beer.

Decided to give it a go. Glad I did. Very good beer.

Normally would think nitro with something this hoppy would be a disaster but I could see it working with this beer. It is quite bitter and I could see that knocking it down a bit and smoothing it out.

Troeggs does good stuff. I think I still prefer Nimble Giant but this is great.

Well I’m in I guess. I chased this beer in that weird period when NN was “discovered” and production was not up to demand. Loved it.

Then I was seduced by the big breasted NEIPA. She is my girl right now but I feel like I should call my Ex.

Kind of funny back in the day people disliked hoppy beers on nitro (and actual cask for that matter) because it made it less hoppy/bitter.

With a straight up IPA, I don't think knocking the bitterness down and accentuating the malt character is preferable. However, with a very pine/resin forward hoppy amber ale that has a rich, delicious malt backbone and already smooth mouthfeel, I can see it working. I'm not sure if it'd be better, but my interest is at least piqued to try it.
