Ok so I know this isn't a new concern but I have read and heard a lot.of different info about how much nugget nectar will be available yada yada. Some people seem to think there will be plenty more to come while others such as myself are worried they wont get any. I'm from CT and have to travel to NY to try and.get it. I can't get there until Saturday so I called up a spot I usually shop at out there to see what my chances of scoring some on Saturday would be. The Guy I talked to totally confused me because he said they were sold out the same day they got the first shipment but they are getting more and it should be enough to "go around" and he's 99,9% sure they'll have it Saturday but they are getting it Tuesday. If they sold out the 1st shipment in hours how is he 99.9% sure they will have it Saturday which is 5 days after the 2nd shipment??? Does anyone have any info about 2nd shipments being much larger than the first shipments? I'm totally confused and dying to get some nugs

From my experience, the first shipments disappear pretty quick, but then once the rush dies down the stores that get it typically will have it on hand for a while....I also heard that Troegs upped their prodcution/distribution of NN this year so you shouldn't have a problem in a week or so.

I'm out of town in New Hampshire and the store I've been hitting up in MA got some in today. The first tweet from the store was limit three cases per person, an hour later changed to 1 case per person and an hour later they were out..
This was between 2-5p on a Monday - wtf?

NN has been very limited around here and I'm about an hour or two from Hershey. Like I said in another thread all 3 of my local places sold all of their 30 cases in a few hours. I was lucky enough to secure a sixtel that I will be picking up today. But overall yes NN has been extremely limited this year for some reason.

Nugget Nectar was produced more this year than last year, somewhere around 25-50% more. Also, they didnt make any bomber sized bottles this year so there should be even more 12oz cases to go around. If you are unable to attain some just hit me up here because NJ gets a ton of it.

I'd bet that because of the delayed release there was a bit of a feeding frenzy with the first shipment, but hopefully that will all work itself out within the next few weeks.

I've never had a problem getting plenty of Nugget Nectar. In fact, I see plenty of it sit around way past season. They really make a ton of this beer - it's basically just a simple Amber IPA that they can crank out quickly - not some crazy barrel aged rarity that takes 6 months and a boatload of space to manufacture.

The initial drop of any seasonal tends to go quickly. Just be patient and in two weeks you'll have your fill.

We'll all get our share. That's why it's one of the best "seasonals" out there.

I wouldn't say it's "extremely limited" this year. They've produced more and haven't expanded their distribution. We're only in the first wave of Nugget Nectar. There will be plenty, plenty more throughout March. Trust a hoe.

I agree about the second wave. But my experience right now is that you have to be in the right place at the right time or have it on hold in order to get it.

Depending upon where you live, I'd agree. I know of places around me that have plenty of 6-packs sitting on their shelves. Take it for what it's worth.

The difference this year is that more people are buying in bulk, by the case, instead of six packs, fearing that they won't see it again. Troegs will be releasing several more allocations this year, so if you didn't get it this week, you'll see it again very soon. They produced much more this year, and as said, didn't expand distro.

    Patience....
