I wouldn't put the two of them against each other, they aren't similar enough. They're not even the same style of beer. Celebration is crisp and drier with more pine from the hops. Nugget Nectar is more full bodied, the malt sweetness with the hops makes it juicier.

I'm gonna go NN just to not be a homer.

    Cheers!

The thing is I realy enjoy the celebration ale alot. But the hoppines flavor of NN is so outstanding. NN should really be compared to HOP Slam.

Comparing a 7.5% hoppy amber to a 10% double IPA? That's an even more ridiculous comparison than Nugget Nectar vs. Celebration.

Are you serious? What didn't you like about it? I thought this years batch did away with the slight sweetness issue from last year.

I've been drinking both for years and have never really considered them similar. Celebration is a really good IPA, but to me Nugget Nectar is a unique and special beer.

Both are great beers, but I don't find them similar. Hard to pick between the two, but my preference leans slightly towards Celebration, especially when it's really fresh. Those fresh hops almost jump from the glass!
