Haha my lifestyle is not conducive to day drink like it use to be. Kids have diminished my free spirit ha. More for you guys though!

 

Didn't know you could reserve a table. Thanks! I have a session 2 ticket. Planning to be there sooner though in case they run out of special kegs.

 

They won't. They're splitting the kegs/casks between the two sessions.

I'm just gonna say it -- I like how literally every one of us who posts on here and was going after tickets, did not mention this release until, like, ten minutes prior to the sale haha. Bad form, us.

I'm ashamed of myself.

 

I honestly had no idea until seeing the post, five min before I bought a ticket. But I wouldn't have lost sleep if I missed out.

 

Nah, don't be. RayOhio posted in another thread days before they went on sale asking about it. That raised it on my radar to keep looking for it.

 

No worries - this was highly publicized by Willoughby on their social media accounts. Real fans likely follow them, cherry-pickers probably don't. We don't have an obligation to run here to post everything - in fact, I kinda like that the lack of pre-publicity here probably meant more locals and true fans got in on the action.

"We have 2 kegs of Nut Smasher that we will have on tap Sunday. We will tap one at the beginning of Session 1 and another at the beginning of Session 2. We had hoped to have more, but filling those bourbon barrels took more than we anticipated. When those are gone, they are gone. (This same amount lasted the entire 2015 release event).

We will be tapping our usual lineup, including a fresh batches of Third Planet Pale Ale and Moondance (not Moonshadow) IPA, as well as St.Otto Dunkel Weizenbock.

To supplement, we have a pretty great guest tap lineup as well:

Fat Heads - Hop JuJu Imperial IPA
Mad Tree - PSA
Seventh Son - Syzygy Double IPA
Taft's Ale House - Skronk Juice Rye IPA
New Belgium - Blackberry Barleywine
Yellow Springs - Breaking Edge IPA
Butcher & Brewer - yet to be determined"

 

Anyone doing any IP trades? Looking to maybe try to set some up for some BA stouts / sours? Think it would get seen in the IP forum? Or do more people check this for Nutsmasher release.

First time going, so not sure how big this release gets.

 

Kind of bummed i am missing out. Didn't know about this release until the day after tix went on sale. Kept telling myself if only I had done the same search a day earlier. At least I'll know for next year. Hope everyone has a good time.

 

I'm being serious when I say that if I'm unable to get our reserved table because a bunch of gagootzes are malingering around from session one, I will literally fart onto your table/food. I'm not afraid to eat an entire kielbasa and follow it up with seven FiberOne bars, prophylactically. Let's just say I'll be locked and loaded -- don't poke the(smelly) bear, people.

 

its strange they referred to them as sessions, as the ticket is only really for when you can purchase the bottles. they are open for regular business as normal. I've not been to a release there, but have been there many other times, could be crowded.

 

Yeah, I mean I don't really think that they're going to clear the place out after session one. It's still a restaurant, no?

My comments were obviously made in jest, but I'm just hoping people don't set up camp for six hours(they won't, I'm being paranoid).
