In one fell swoop, family duty conflict and related transportation issue. Unless we get a flood of attendees at the last minute, please keep me on the list though, as I will try to make it for the latter half of the event.

Say it ain't so, my good man.:slight_frown:

What about taking your giant seahorse via the lakes and ship canal? Or shooting yourself, daredevil-style, from the Eastside to Ballard out of an enormous clam gun? We can erect a large pile of grain and hop pellets from among the inventory at the brewery to safely catch you...

Like @cherche says, please do come when you can. We're probably going to need someone still in possession of their senses to help guide us towards the exit at 3:00 and onto the UBG afterwards anyway.:sunglasses:

Pretty sure I live about ten feet away from you, so if you can wriggle out of the family thing, you can catch a ride with me.

If we'd gotten our act together sooner, and people were willing to shell out the few extra bucks, it might have been nice to spring for a couple of these to ferry our sorry asses over to the UBG at 3:00 tomorrow.

Not only would it have been a relatively safe and amusing means of transport, it also would have announced, in no uncertain terms, that that shit show was about to become a real fucking party.

While I'm at it, and since I'm probably going to be too shy to say this in person in front of everyone, I do have one special request for tomorrow...It's that we start off by cracking the Spring Elixir, and give @Texwild, @John_M, and @cherche the first tastes, while their palates are still fresh, and they can really appreciate it. And then we pour the rest out in honor of the regrettably absent @beertunes. Paying such tribute to our distinguished host, moderator, organizer, and fearless forum leader seems to me the very least we can do. It's probably what that bottle deserves, too...

    And a rollicking good time...

I was picturing maybe Tex or John in the captain's seat, with a megaphone, belting out who-knows-what, with us following along, as we made our way down Leary. Or Terry*, if he were with us.

*(He probably wouldn't need the megaphone.)

Checkin in last minute! I'm still down but will be without guest if that opens up space for anyone. Will have a handful of bottles, and more then happy to chip in for pizza. Would love to have a tour around the place as well!

Oh and more then happy to come early/stay late if setup/cleanup is needed

Hope so, cause that's where I heading in about an hour and 15 minutes.
