I am interested in creating beer tasting kits that would involve packaging and shipping several craft beers along with a tasting sheet. I contacted the New York State Liquor Board and was told it is illegal to ship beers independent from a brewery because no licenses exist covering this field. However, there is an increasing popularity of alcohol delivery services that ship beer/wine/etc. directly to a person's home. I even saw one brewery host a tasting event and included a link to a website where people could purchase and be shipped a crate of beer to taste. How is this possible? Are there loopholes or other license I should look into to make my idea possible? Thanks for any advice! -Adam
