NY Times: "Monopolizing Beer"

    I like the idea of some of the craft beers going to BMC. It will bring much-needed attention to craft beers of all sorts.

    It is more than reasonable, it's prudent. As the article points out:
    "In addition to raising prices, the big brewers have used their clout to try to slow the growth of craft beer companies by offering distributors and retailers incentives not to carry smaller labels."

    At the end of the day, the big boys want to own the industry, not be a part of the community. Is there anyone who really believes the craft beer industry would be better off with only big players making the rules?

    i will gladly buy Bourbon County. i tend not to mix my politics with my beer.
