very serious beer day fri 6/12.....anyone have any experience w/ this place? the line up has me 1/2 way there already
They usually have a very solid lineup, and are a great addition to the area. From what I heard, the new beer manager really starting to revamp their beer menu not too long ago. I originally planned on spending an afternoon there, but then all kinds of crap happened (my car died last week, so I'm using my son's car until he gets a new one. As it also turns out, it's his prom tonight, and he needs the car by 4:30...). If the traffic is good, and I have time to spare then, I will probably just stop in for a beer and grab a growler to go, unfortunately. I gotta be out of there by 4pm.

They had a whole secondary list of back up kegs and I was told they weren't even close to needing them yesterday (admittedly early in the night)...seems like they will have some good stuff on tap for a while yet!
Good thing- the goddamn traffic killed me yesterday. It seems like the past 5 or 6 Fridays in a row the FDR northbound has had a major accident, and I had to sit through the hell of the west side- what the hell is going on lately?!! Ugh... Anyway, maybe it'll be nice to hit up NYWF on a day when things are a bit ore normal, and get a nice surprise when I get there.
