Headed up to NYC in late August. Last time I was there, my wife and I went to both Full Circle (skeeball) and Barcade (arcade games).
My hope is to find somewhere this time that has a good beer selection and PING PONG, or some other activity that involves beer and possibly pulling a muscle.
Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated.

Greenwood Park has great beer and Bocci Ball....(Barcade is awesome though)

Spin is a ping pong bar on 23rd St (between Madison and Park) with a reasonably decent beer line-up. Not a dive, though, a little lounge/club vibe to it.

The Standard Biergarten also has ping pong. They usually have 3 German beers on draft.

Brooklyn bowl has a good tap list. Ace Bar has skeeball but a bad list.

Never seen a request like this. Go to Torst and don't worry about the games.

Breuklen Bier Merchants is great because you get to drink there at bottle prices, great selection.

Spritzenhaus has Jenga. I think that's it though.

Sign up for the marathon and bring beer in a backpack for the run.

Discovered a while ago that drinking beer and running is fun for about 3 miles, and then everything goes downhill fast . . .

Fat Cat in the West Village.
They've got ping pong, pool, shuffleboard, etc. and a decent enough bar.

If you're in Brooklyn, Union Hall is the place to go if you like your Chimay with indoor Bocce.

I have plans to go to Torst- really looking forward to it.
As to the games, I choose to both accept and embrace my competitive nature, and fuel it with good beer. Plus, I've found that while sitting at a bar with my wife is enjoyable, listening to her try to talk shit while playing games is much more amusing.

    Thanks everyone for the recommendations.

Oh no, don't let me stop your dreams. But if you pull it off, I want to be on the bandwagon.
