The bang for the buck isn't there for me. Rather they bring back Das Best Oktoberfest.

I'd imagine that The Jeffrey's events will have some interest.

I'm going to the Spring NYC Craft Beer Festival with some friends on 3/1 in the afternoon session, and will most likely be popping into The Jeffrey for the MBC and Bruery events next week.

Would love to get out to Torst or BT on Monday but will depend on work.

I planned the wrong week to be out of town!

But I will be at the NYC Craft Beer Spring fest - volunteering on 2/28 and drinking on 3/1.

Does anyone have an extra ticket for NYC Craft Beer Spring fest 1-4pm session on Saturday 3/1 they are looking to sell?

Going to Brewer's Choice tomorrow, that was a pretty fantastic event last year. But overall I'd rather see them bring back the passports. This new way with staged events just feels stale. All the events get overcrowded and there's almost no incentive to go further than necessary. I loved the passports as I could hit them on my time and explore new places when they weren't a madhouse. Plus we get events basically once a week anyway.

Has anyone tried the Empire Sweet Fire Stout? I saw it at BT last night but only had a chance to try a few CCs before I had to leave

I was there last night as well. I enjoyed it more than the Illuminating the Path they also had on tap, though both were good. Cool bar, had never been there before.

Hmmm, i just noticed that Brooklyn is not on the list of breweries at Brewer's Choice tonight. I wonder what happened. I know they are doing something at the brewery. Maybe they figured since we are all so close we'll just drop by. Was hoping they would pour Wild Streak.

Yeah they were. With a ghost bottle of Jong Kriek and Wild Streak. They said they didn't wnt to conflict with Brewer's Choice so they cancelled their own event. Great night.

I had a great time volunteering at the NYC Craft Beer fest. Can't go wrong with meeting beer lovers all night and getting to drink for free. Definitely volunteering for the next one.
