    Hi guys,

Don’t want to be redundant but specifically looking for Brooklyn and Queens recommandations.

Staying in BK July 28th to the 30th.

Will definitely return to Other Half. I see that there is now 2 locations though… Only been to the OG. Any pros and cons ?

Will most likely buy tickets to the Mets game on the 29th too… Any good bar/brewery not too far since Mikkeller is gone ?

Is there any bar in BK or Queens that has a great taplist and great food also ?

Not craft beer but looking for a solide pastrami and a solid pizza spot too.

    Thanks for the help !

There's actually three OH locations, two in Brooklyn, one in Manhattan. The OG still has the most to-go options, but the Williamsburg location is nice too. The Rockefeller Center spot will be more than satisfactory, but there's not as much space and there'll usually be a few things at the BK spots that aren't at RC.

The OG is closer to the main brewery hotspot in the city, which is the pocket of the Gowanus area with Wild East/Finback/Strong Rope/Threes, about a mile away from OH. On a nice day it's very walkable, or a super quick cab ride.

Though Mikkeller is gone there's now Ebbs in its place, which is generally fine but nothing anybody should go out of their way for. If you want to work in something more interesting around the Mets game, Fifth Hammer is close enough to the 7 train you can pop in on the way up, and they're very solid. Always have cask options and some more traditional styles.

Lucali pizza is walking distance to Other Half Centre Street and is BYOB. Typically you leave your name at open and they text you when a table is ready. Can grab a couple pours at Other Half and head back with some cans.

F&F is also great pizza near Other Half. Can grab slices to go and eat them at the tap room.

Shelsky’s is pretty close to that area and has great pastrami.

OG Other Half is very close to Wild East, Finback BK and Strong Rope.

Bars with limited but tasty food with great tap lists include Gold Star and Covenhoven.

Queue Beer right by Other Half has excellent tap list and you can have pizza delivered or pick up from F&F their too.

I'd give Talea a look to too....they use a lot of interesting ingredients to make really crushable, flavorful beer. Cheese board's excellent as well.
